Activating PayLater on the ShopBack app means you’re agreeing to hoolah’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Any remaining hoolah orders will remain in your hoolah account. Outstanding hoolah payments will continue to be deducted from the card added to your hoolah account on the scheduled due dates.
You’ll be able to enjoy any ShopBack PayLater promotions as long as you’re a ShopBack member, and meet the terms and conditions set for ShopBack PayLater promotions.
1st instalment: Upfront payment
2nd instalment: 30 days from checkout (purchase date + 30 days)
3rd instalment: 60 days from checkout (purchase date + 60 days
The 2nd and 3rd instalments are automatically deducted from the user’s default card in their ShopBack account on the scheduled due date. Overdue payments are subjected to late payment charges.
With PayLater, there is 0% interest, no upfront costs, no fees and no hidden charges as long as you pay on time*! You only pay what you see on our website, and it works with both debit and credit cards. There may be late payment fees for overdue payments, so that people don’t abuse the service.

If you’re an existing ShopBack user, select “Interest-Free PayLater” on your home screen, click on “Activate” and follow the guide through the process.
In line with the regulatory requirements for using ShopBack PayLater, they’ll need you to share the following information when you register:
• A Singapore NRIC or FIN number
• A mobile number issued with a Singapore prefix (+65)
• A valid email address
• Credit card/debit card issued by a financial institution
You need to be at least 18 years of age to use ShopBack PayLater.
By sharing your details, this will allow ShopBack PayLater to assess if your transaction can be supported by them.
Identification of users — to ensure that ShopBack PayLater identify the correct users, they require a front and back photo of your NRIC at sign up or you can set up your account using the MyInfo (Singpass) function
Fraud prevention — ShopBack PayLater wants to ensure that all of you have a secured in-app checkout, to prevent any misuse of identity or funds
At ShopBack, they take your privacy and data security very seriously. Their Privacy Policy explains how they may collect, use, disclose and safeguard any personal data you provide to them.

Online checkout (Using laptop/PC)
- Browse through stores that accept ShopBack PayLater as a payment method.
- Once you’ve selected your item and would like to proceed to check out, select ShopBack PayLater as your payment option and you’lll be redirected to a ShopBack PayLater payment page with a QR code.
- On your phone, open the ShopBack app and click “Scan & Pay”.
- Scan the QR code using your ShopBack app.
- You’ll see a breakdown of the payment.
- Confirm your payment by proceeding to “Swipe to Pay”!
Online checkout (Using mobile web)
- Browse through stores that accept ShopBack PayLater as a payment method.
- Once you’ve selected your item and would like to proceed to check out, select ShopBack PayLater as your payment option and you’ll be redirected to a ShopBack PayLater payment page with a QR code.
- You’ll need to tap on the QR code to pay for your purchase.
- A breakdown of the payment will be shown.
- Confirm your payment by proceeding to “Swipe to Pay”!
In-Store checkout (Using ShopBack app)
- If you’re using ShopBack PayLater for your in-store purchase, you may use the “Scan & Pay” function in the ShopBack app to pay for your purchase.
- Scan the QR code standee, located at the cashier.
- A breakdown of your PayLater details will be shown on your screen.
- After confirming the amount and breakdown, proceed to “Swipe to Pay”.
- A successful payment page will show on your screen!
The outstanding instalments will be auto-deducted from the default card set in your ShopBack account based on the following schedule:

2nd instalment: 30 days from checkout (purchase date + 30 days)
3rd instalment: 60 days from checkout (purchase date + 60 days)
To view the list of bills and payments related to ShopBack PayLater: Select Account > Bills & Payments. All of your ShopBack PayLater bills (for both online and in-store purchases) will be reflected here.

If you’re facing an error while using your debit card, it could be because your card is not enabled for e-commerce transactions. For this instance, please reach out to your respective bank to enable your debit card.
If you’re hoping to make an early repayment, please note that ShopBack PayLater do not support this feature at the moment. Payments will automatically be deducted based on your payment schedule for each individual ShopBack PayLater transaction.
