The watch’s robustness is underscored by the sandblasted stainless steel case and a rotating bezel. This can be adjusted via a screw-down crown at 10 o’ clock, which precludes any inadvertently false settings. With its clear baton markers with Superluminova coating for ease of use even in the dark, the dial boasts both day and date display and is protected by scratch-proof sapphire crystal. Its equivalent on the reverse side of the case is the transparent screw-down back, which provides an excellent view of the ETA 2836-2 movement and guarantees water resistance of up to 100 metres. The Trailmaster Automatic is fastened to the wrist with a strap made of special nylon webbing, a material which convinces due to its excellent resilience and is used, among other things, in the manufacture of motorcycle garments.
