Solar Chronograph
This solar chronograph watches inherits the iconic designs and styles of the Speedtimer series from the 1960s-70s.
All watches are powered by Seiko’s solar Caliber V192, which has a 60-minute chronograph, a 24-hour sub-dial, and features a power reserve indicator that is displayed at the touch of a button.
The distinctive coloring of the aluminum bezel and hands on the dial inherits the iconic designs of the original Speedtimer creations. The combination of colors gives the new watches a definite presence on the wrist. The chronograph second hand and the minute hand at 6 o’clock are both red to enhance the legibility of the chronograph function.
The seconds markers are located on the inner bezel ring so that the indexes can be large and highly visible, giving the watch a powerful and sports feel. The hour and minute hands and all twelve indexes are coated with Lumibrite so that the time of day can be read even in low light conditions.
